Points’ courgette charade

It’s Battleship Potemkin, Eisenstein.

Points pushed the courgette, so that it fell all the way down the stairs.

It’s the scene on the Odessa Steps where the citizens of Odessa are supporting the mutinous sailors on the Battleship Potemkin, and government forces fire on them. A woman with a baby in a pram is shot dead. She lets go of the pram, and it rolls all the way down the steps.

Points says we must all support public sector workers if they mutiny, but we agreed that we’d encourage parents to leave their cubs and babies at home if the government forces are looking very dangerous.

Don’t watch it unless you’ve got someone’s hand to hold. This is just the courgette scene:

But you can watch the whole film if you like, because it’s out of copyright.
